Here's a photo of the new enco lathe I purchased some time ago.
We are still getting acquainted. I'm trying to act like a mill wright;
zeroing out all the back lash, bearing tolerances, etc.

In the process, I found a tooth missing on a worm gear.
Part of getting acquainted was taking all the wheels
and handles off the lathe and having them brass plated.

Hopefully by the end of the year I'll have this thing in operation.

This is my work area in the back yard where I do my hand sanding.
