I tossed a piece in water and tried to soak it off and that didn't work. So I placed a piece
in an old
coffee urn and heated up the water and the old hide glue loosened up and the veneer came right off.
My question......are there other ways to remove veneer affixed to the substrate
with hide glue without soaking a piece in hot water?
