A client asked me to recane and refinish these 20 year old chairs.  They are outdoors 9 months a year and they are under a covered porch.

 

I plan on gently solvent stripping the pieces and applying an exterior varnish. I have used a Sikkens exterior varnish made for furniture in the past but is being discontinued.  Does anyone have any suggestions for an exterior varnish that lasts?  Epiphanes maybe?
