Groop,
Yesterday I looked at a desk damaged in a move. The
movers banged the top into a doorway and the damage
is more of a dent than a scratch. The desk is a maple
veneer with a toned finish. The finish seems very thin
and is 30 degree sheen or flatter. And of course the
damage is cross grain AND right in the middle of the
desk.
Is there any way to fill these dents and make them
look better when the finish is so thin? I have attached
pictures. I will welcome any feedback.
