Greetings Groop,
I picked up a cabinet door today that has an antique crackle finish on
it. I haven't done a crackle finish in years but when I did them in the
past I couldn't have regulated the crackle areas as shown in the pics I
sent without alot of finesse. I could regulate the size of the cracks by
the smoothness of the surface I was going over or the amount of material
applied. This is a production piece so I'm reasonably sure they must have
applied something just the areas to be cracked. Does anyone out there
have any idea as to the method and material they might have used?
