I need to make this Steinway mahogany piano that has bad water damage
into an ebony rubbed out almost new piano to be sold for around $30k.
Water damage does not get much worse than this on the side. Does
anyone think that I can get this piano re-veneered and smooth enough to
not see waves in the delaminating sides and front? I have to fill the grain
and rub it out.
We just did one for $2k (not so badly damaged) that we resurfaced, not
stripped, and lost a bit on. What would you guys charge? It is 6 ft.
