This fine 19th century Italian library table is one of the most
recent projects we've completed. It came to us in several pieces.
The rings holding up the bottom shelf came in a box of about 50 pieces.
Val (my wife -- for all you men who think this is a mans line of work)
tore the existing rings apart because somebody had previously tried
to repair them. She painstakingly rebuilt them like an archeologist
trying to build the fossil of an old dinosaur.
After the rebuilding was completed it was sent to our
stripping department where it was hand stripped and sanded.
It was then stained, sealed, grain filled by Rus n Val.
We then top coated and buffed out piece.
Val antiqued the gargoyles to match the existing feet.
We hope you all enjoy this fine 19th century table!
For any one who is curious -- final price $1700.00
