I have completed my first kid project and it was a great success when I gave
it to him this weekend. However, I did it without my 3 year old grandson's
assistance since he lives 5 hours away. But I learned from his father (my
son) that he wanted a sword "to fight the bad guys." I've attached pictures.
It is difficult to see in the photos but sword is not in a scabbard, it is
painted
black and shaped in profile as an elongated diamond. There is an epoxied
all thread 1/4" rod extending through the handle into both sides of the
hilt.
Nana didn't think it would be a good idea to paint blood on the blade.
