I received this bed in for some work and need help either restoring
or replacing the decal on the headboard. The decal is mounted on
a wooden plaque which was previously nailed and glued to the
headboard. The front of the decal has small alligator cracks all
over it and two places have portions of the decal missing.
The owner suggested removing the decal and finishing it to match
the lighter colored panels. No problem but I think the bed would
look so much nicer with the decal.
I told the owner that it would be about 3 months before I could
start on it so I have some time for some "learnin".
Would Decals Unlimited carry something like this?
What book or books would help if I tried to restore it?
