Groop,

I just did an inspection for a client that needs a quote for replacement
and repair/conservation of this spectacular clock and a circa date?

I hope some of the conservation experts including Don can help
me with this. Attached are the photos.  The Hood of the clock
could not be placed on top because it would not fit in an 8' ceiling.

A tree fell thru the roof and a limb landed on the hood of the clock
Sheet rock fell against the two fretworked (solid mahogany) sides of
the hood cracking it in many places, with some pieces missing.  The small
crown molding was also broke with 2 minor chips, and some scratches
on the hood from the limb. No structural damage to the case.

The base is inlaid.

Thanks in advance,
RickB.
