This table was finished with Duravar gloss.

Final treatment was to dual pad wet sand with 500 grit,
dual pad rub with 0000 steel wood and
clean/polish with OZ cream polish.

The first picture shows the table wet sanded
and half way steel wool rubbed.
Sheen differences are obvious.

Second picture is of the table rubbed out and OZ polished.
The pictures may not capture the rub marks, but there are
rub marks in the finish, probably from the 500 grit.
Tip: use a scotch brite pad under the
steel wool in case the wool wears through.

The table is a "working" table,
meaning the owners use it for family dinner everyday.
They have two growing 6 & 7 year old girls.
The table will see home work and craft projects done on it.
And possibly someday, fingernail polish and remover.

When I deliver the table I will give the owner
a zip lock plastic bag marked "0000" with
a pad of steel wool, instructions and cautions inside.
This will allow the owner to perform minor restoration work
when the table gets objectionable wear and tear on it.
