This door is in a "historic home".

The original eight doors were clear fir finished in either
shellac or varnish. Original doors were heavily worn,
chipped, soiled and dirty. My friend and competitor
refinished them in a toned pre-cat lacquer.
I don't know what happened to my friend's expertise,
except the doors came out way too red.

Now they must be refinished again to a more original
clear-amber color. The doors are raised panel on both sides.
The clients contractor will remove and re-hang the doors.

What should I charge to strip and refinish them,
both sides to a more original color?

Thanks in advance,

~RichC.
