This morning I stripped furniture using Ray's S-503 stripper.
I worked 3.5 hours.
I used 4.75 in of stripper out of a 5 gallon plastic pail.
The inside diameter is about 9.75 at the bottom and
11.75 at the top and I was about mid range in the bucket.
My cost including freight for 10 gallons was $278.12
or $27.81 per gallon.
RayE did the math and said:
"... your 5 gallon pail delivered price of $27.81
means you used $52.84 worth of solvent.
With delivery a 30 gallon drum would cost you
approximately $21.50 per gallon.which would
figure out to a total cost in your test of $41.00"
The total revenue that will be generated
from the items I stripped will be $2,020.
