I just wanted to post a picture of an antique frame
that I cut down for a customer.
The customer wanted it cut down for a oil painting.

It originally was 48" x 35.
The new dimensions are 32"x 24".
The width of the frame was 5" and the height just shy of 4".
It took about 5 hours to complete the project.
It was the largest frame that I have ever cut down.

The corners did not fit perfectly since the frame had a small amount
of warpage. I used tootsie roll epoxy and colored it using rub'n'buff
using two different colors to match the existing color of the frame.
Instead of using nails for the miters I biscuit joined the frame and
used West Epoxy and filled in with the tootsie roll type epoxy to
fill in gaps, stained and colored the back to keep the old look.

It came out much better than I expected.
Next time when I say yes I will do that I will double the price.
