Here's the repair sequence I used to repair
and secure the broken piece of marble.
I first used 30 min epoxy bought from Russ R.
to epoxy the two pieces together.
The first picture shows the piece glued together.
Then I flipped the piece over
and attached 2 pieces of 1x2 with fibreglass .
What do you think -- will it hold??
I've got some faux finishing to do on the front.
With help from GS1 it won't be an invisible repair but acceptable.
