Here's a beauty. According to the owner,
this tall clock was his Great Grandfathers.
It is almost 8 ft tall when put together.
He wants me to pad it with shellac and
repair the bottom in the proper method.
This is a stress crack.
I would appreciate your opinions on how to repair the base.
What ever method I choose I'm going to have fun with this one.
This is old brittle cherry.
What kind of finial shall I turn for the top?
