Hi all,

Attached are photos of a chair that a customer gave
to me repair and refinish.  They asked me if I knew
anything about the chair.  I told them that I do not
identify or value furniture but that it looked like it was
made to mimic a Stickney but without any
identification on the chair I could not be certain.

Furniture identification is not my strong suit but I told
them I would ask around.  The chair is made in the
Stickney fashion, but the turned side supports under
the arm I have never seen in a Stickney.  My
uneducated guess is that it is a knock off, but I
would like some professional opinions on the matter.
The chair is made of oak and the hardware on the
back which supports the chair's back is steel not
brass.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
