The two shots are of products from my old company
that are currently in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas,
and that I personally finished.
Both are fabricated of steel only.
Both could be considered "antique brass/bronze".

This one is done with a darkened "rich pale gold" powder
suspended in lacquer as the base. It is further darkened
with a coat of black casein, which has been rubbed back
with steel wool to highlight the relief, in addition to
inevitably working itself into the finish in general.
Topcoat is NC with a little flatting paste thrown in.
Pretty simple, right?

This green one (the only photo I have is from the shop,
but there are at least a dozen hanging in Vegas)
also uses darkened bronzing powder as the base.
On top of this is a coat of white casein
(possibly tinted with thalo green, I can't remember).
The white casein is further colored with thalo green in water
sprayed on. It is rubbed back throughout the process to
reveal both the base coat, and the lighter underlying casein.

The casein was then spattered with raw umber in water
and/or asphalt in thinner. Finally it was given a wash in
raw umber in water, and top coated in very flat NC lacquer.
