The brass hardware was made by Frank LaRoque and is indistinquishable
from the original. Frank tried to get me to do it myself, saying that metal
works as easy as wood. I just don't have the talent to work metal.

I couldn't have matched the color without all the
bits of info gleaned from messages.

The wood was maple,
but the drawer fronts are american sycamore veneer.

I first washcoated with SW vinyl sealer,

Then base color was Mohawk Raw Sienna Ultra Penetrating dye stain.

SW gloss lacquer (thin coat),

Mohawk raw umber nu-glaze,

more gloss laq (staying thin)

Then a whole variety of Mohawk toners like, nutmeg, med brown walnut,
dark oak, green blockout and STAR orange block out which is really a
red in my opinion and I hope it is being brought back into production.

I top-coated the whole thing with SW satin laq (Medium Rubbed effect).
