I'm finishing a staircase with 132 spindles --
my shop is packed so full that I can't get to my
overhead track to hang them on, but I came up
with an idea to help me spray both sides.
I took a bunch of 6' 1x2's and nailed a couple
carpet tack strips to each them,
and put 2 of these across saw horses
-- works great -- !
I spray one side and flip it over and spray the other side.
Just the flat parts of the spindles touch the tack strip tips.
On each set of saw horses I can lay out and spray
25 spindles at a time and you can't even see
the tiny holes made by the carpet tack strip.
It also works good for anything else
that needs both sides finished.
Beats the heck out of driving a million nails through plywood.
