I need to trim the veneer on this table top. How would you do it? The top edge is set in from the bottom edge.

 

Is there a tool to do this or do I need to  make my own? I came up with this design. Haven't tried it yet.

I have had difficulty in the past getting the shipment. Does anyone have another resource.  I'm looking for book-matched mahogany burl.
