The spraystraw cannot be dislodged, no matter what you do.
Please notice that the straw is all bent out of shape.
This can is empty and I dug it out of the garbage can.
I cut out the top with a pair of scissors and a knife,
punched the hole with an ice pick.
At this point, you have to work fast
as the hole does not stay open for long.
Drilling a hole smaller than the straw works real good also.
Shove the straw in and leave it there.

This is a "dribble jar/can" --
when you need a drop of stuff out of a can,
run a rag over the lip to make sure it is clean
and then use a piece of tape on the top
to leave a little opening and it will dribble,
a larger opening will allow it to run faster.
Good control.
