Groop,
Has been a while since I have shared some of my shop tools with you.
One of the dirty, nasty, degrading and just down right awful things and
some very stupid and inconsiderate thing that happens to spray guns,
is when someone lays them on their sides for a moment to fill the canister.
This allows the juice that is in the gun to run into all the cracks and
crevices in the gun head. This makes cleaning absolutely necessary.
This wastes time and time is money.
This is one of the things that happen that make
the disassembly of a spray gun necessary.
I personally NEVER take my gun apart. NEVER in the time that
I have owned my Accuspray have I disassembled it for any reason.
Oil the moving parts once in a while and take off the tip assembly
and soak them each time I am done using the gun :o) Nothing else.
I might even be guilty of leaving finish in the gun for
extended lengths of time, (weeks and weeks).
No oxygen as the container is sealed, stuff keeps a loooong time.
The photo shows how to make a holder for your spray gun
and canister while you are filling the canister with juice.
It has a storage place for your filters, and a drip catcher.
The measurements are 8" x 8" x 21" high. The holes for the filters
are 4-1/4" diameter. The space between the bottom and the first
shelf is 9-1/2". The holes are within 1" of the edge. The drip can I
used is a Campbell soup can with a screw through the upper lip to
keep it from falling through the hole and it can be easily taken out
and thrown away later.
I made one to show you all, because the one I have used for
years is in my spray room in an inside corner and try as I would,
I could not get a picture.
The one shown is for Mike Hilt, I have another in pieces.
First to ask can have it.

....Actually I am too lazy to clean a spray gun.
If it do work, why clean it?....
