I've been working at some instructional videos for the past few
years. I've done mine by myself with one camera on the tripod
and handling the action with a remote control. Likely not the
production quality Don is putting out, but not bad stuff either. The
point is in the lesson, not the cinematography. My tapes have
some rough edits but pretty good picture quality. (lint can be seen
floating in the air on the close-ups)

I sent some of the rough-cut, un-edited tape to Alan, which he
shared at the last groopfest. Seems Dick Patch ended up with
one. The project wasn't completed at the time and I was another
year doing so.

The video here is some horse hair work on an 1890's rosewood
sofa from France. This wonderful sofa is fully stuffed with hair,
stitched in by hand. Seen here is the second stuffing about 1"
deep placed over the first stuffing stitched in about 2" deep. I was
around 90 hours in the upholstery at this point.

It's apparent there's little upholstery interests in groop, but I do have

some videos available. A couple months back I asked Groop if there
was anyone interested in attending a seminar at my shop on overstuffed
work. I have room for one, maybe two more students June 26-28.
