I know little about it, but we do think it is quite an interesting piece.
It has 2 other positions between upper and lower position.
We let the babies use it a few times (when they were tiny)
and the cain in the back gave up.
It was very dry rotted when I aquired it back in the late 70's.
One day, I'd like to restore it all, but for now it's not a high priority.

If anyone knows anything about these things,
I'd love for them to share it with me/us.
