The little gold color box was finished in natural Minwax,
and is the same wood as the light stripe and the background for the
scrollwork on the purpleheart box. I am trying to keep the light very light.
If it turns yellow like the little box it won't look as nice, see what I
mean? I do use Minwax a lot, and as to the fire potential of the Linseed
oil... I use it to start my fires in the woodstove! Waste not, want not!
