Here is a photo that shows the damage. The damage area is
3in. x 16 1/4 in. and the post is 69 in. tall. This post is in two
pieces but it looks like it will be real difficult to seperate so it
has to be shipped as one piece.

The system that is used to assemble this bed is with two pins
and the long cut to accept the side rail with the hooks
