This pedestal is one of three to a 14' Conference table.
Two weeks ago during a move, three of the four legs were
broken off one pedestal. The firm responsible for the repairs
has been in business over 12 years with a decent reputation.
The legs are glued back on with epoxy (crooked)
and a nail gun was used without mercy.
Metal rods poking out each side of the legs.
One leg has a 5/8" clearance from the floor.
Last Friday during a board meeting the CEO decided to investigate
why his large Conference table was leaning to one side and wobbling.
I was told that meeting came to a screeching halt soon after.
This morning that pedestal arrived at my shop for repairs.
Moral of the story:
It takes many years of hard work and dedication to establish
an excellent reputation. It only takes a few weeks to destroy it.
