16 Panels and No Where to Run
I was instructed to take care of this little discoloration problem on
16 African Mahogany Panels before the tenant move on Sept.15th.
I wasn't asked to do the job. I was told to get it done
by one of the most feared power broads in the city.
It is rumored the last contractor that dared oppose her was vaporized.
The new tenant (15 year lease) was told the problem would
be corrected to their satisfaction prior to move in.
To make matters worse several years ago the panels were recoated
(several times) with a water base poly finish. This suggests a high
probability of a reaction nightmare trying to work over the existing finish.
The panels can not be stripped due to building code and time restraints.
I cannot go any darker than the panels already are.
Oh did I mention the opposing wall is all windows.
To get an idea of size it is 14' from the bottom baseboard to the top molding.
Each panel is 9' wide.
Anyone have 2 cents or maybe a prayer?
