This Table Does What?

Since most of the threads I start tend to die off rather quickly

maybe this one will draw some attention.

 

I thought I would send this to groop for a little fun. Does anyone know what the

purpose of this table might be?  If you have seen one before, then you will

know immediately. If you haven’t seen one before, then try taking a guess.

 

Hint: The top insert is not attached. It lifts up from the table to be flipped over.
