Groop,
This is a 1880's train station bench that was originally in
the depot here in The Dalles, Oregon. All the veneer is
either missing or lifted. I opted to replace all the veneer
to make it look all the same. There is too much damage
to repair. In the background is the veneer Veneer
bender that I am going to use for the complex bending
of each part. The parts laying on the floor are the round
ends. The bench has been in storage for 50 plus years
and all the joints need to be taken apart and re-glued.
Under the bench is the vacuum unit that I built and will
use on this project.
