I finished this pine bedroom about 10 years ago
(not the mural).
The ends of the cabinets were veneered incorrectly
and had to be replaced.
The problem was, though, that the new cabinet maker
used rift cut STRAIGHT no grain, no cathedrals, FIR!
I could have made him remove it and put the right kind
of pine on (if he could even find it) but I was there to
do the work and I didn't want to waste the trip and
come back another time and put him through that.
If you knew this customer you would know why.
This home used to belong to Uncle Milty
