I am looking at a project that I can use some
suggestions on.
The first is a writing desk that has just the upper part
of a claw foot. The customer thinks that part of it was
cut off, but I don't think anyone would do that. Who
knows. Has anyone seen something like this or have
any idea what the leg might have originally looked like?
The same customer also has a dining room table that
has a split in the top. I have read that epoxy or a
wooden wedge will work, but each has its own
problems. Epoxy is hard to level and color, and a
wooden wedge is difficult to insert and would not
have much holding power.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated
