I finished it with no stain, sealed with vinyl, topcoat with MagnaMax.
As you can see all the wood around it wasn't affected.
It didn't show up until about a month or so after I finished it.
Because this was unfinished during the tile process it had some
alkali stains in a few places that I had to treat with oxalic. I've never
had oa do this that I can remember and it just affected this drawer.
Right now I've stripped off the finish and am trying different ph
approaches with not much success.
I'll most likely mild 2 part it and sand.
What do you think I might have wiped it with to cause this
(memory the second thing to go)?
I just wanted to know if anybody had this experience with maple
so I can avoid it in the future.
