An interesting Red Oak piece with lots of accents from every period...
and maybe thensome. The replaced missing wood carving in the
center of the door panel is what we think it could have originally had.
It's certainly impressive in it's 6' 6" height.
Everything is now functional, i.e. locks, keys and etc.
It's not a style that I particularly care for.
With all that gleaming brass,
some could call it garish,
others would not.
