Surprise, surprise !
After stripping the finish from the top of this
cherry desk, this is what we had.
Not seen in the photo is that the edging
is a good 1/8" proud of the plywood
Figured Cherry veneer has been ordered.
The plan is to fit a piece to the curved front
and then butt up the rectangular balance.
