were damaged in the Allison flood which hit Houston last year.
She wanted them refinished and repaired as necessary,
a common request around here.
When we were finished we called the customer
letting her know they were completed and to take delivery.
She called me a week later to tell me that she had no money.
So ... she donated them to me.
The last thing I need is Furniture, and I'm sure
many of you feel the same regardless of the piece.
I'm not crying about it, nor am I complaining.
Obviously, I'm not overjoyed either.
It's a part of business and it's partly because
of the way in which I prefer to do business.
That is, without any deposit 99% of the time.
I'm happy doing business in like that,
and I'll take my lumps when they occasionally occur.
