Groop,
I need to quote this job, to replace the broken and missing back
splat. My confusion comes from the disassembly of this rocker.
Dowel pins are through the joints, and all joints are very sound.
Has anyone got some hunch how this could be done without
taking the whole rocker apart?

John Polgar replies:
You might try a floating tennon process then slip the splat down
over them.
