This "civil war" era shovel that was badly broken in a move
of one of my clients. I was able to get it back toogether
in one piece, but had trouble repairing the seams of the repairs.
The repair is visible to the naked eye.
The pieces were brought together quite tight,
but the seams of the repair do show.
Is there an approach to "hide" this type of repair
without changing the color or finish of the piece?
