Groop,

Here are some photos of a mirror frame that has me baffled.
It's a double mirror frame with very little "meat" in the center to hold it together.
The frame has broken two times for this lady, normally during a move.

The design of the frame is quite flawed, for it puts all the pressure
on the bottom intersection of the "two frames"
Note picture with pointer.

I have epoxied this joint and then replace the cardboard back with a
luan plywood backing that holds both side of the frame together quite well.

Problem:
The frame stays together nicely but once you move it and pick it up
both sides of the mirror bends backwards and crack, there goes the repair.
The backing material is now holding the frame together, but I cannot seem
to get it stable enough to keep the broken joint tightly together.

Any ideas on stabilizing this piece and
keeping the pressure off the broken joint?

Thanks in advance.
