This was a fun project my wife had for the Art Class she is taking
at a local college. She was to rummage around and find a variety
of artifacts and turn it into a seat of some kind that
the professor would be able to sit on (without breaking).
We had fun rummaging around an old junk shop
near the Smokies one day and came away with
a set of Bronze Andiron,
an old exterior shutter
and one old rusty iron Baby bed.
We cleaned it up and sprayed with
Sherwin Williams CAB Acrylic lacquer.
Looks great.
