Groop,

In a previous thread I shared about my restoration of this
calendar clock. Following are pictures of a similar clock.

My question to you clock folk is :
On the top face, the bezel and crystal are attached
with a small hinge on the right hand side of the bezel

What is the the item protruding on the left bottom side of the clock?
Is that some sort of locking mechanism? Should there be
something on the Bezel that attaches to this to hold it closed?
If so, what should it be and how do I get my hands on one?

The crystal on the top bezel, is it flat or would it be bowed out?

I am having a lot of fun on this clock,
takes some great concentration but real fun to do.
