Groop,
This photo of a Scandinavian residential chair is typical of this
manufacturers breakage. The Mfr. Has more than one style using this type
of leg structure. The customer, whom I've helped about a year ago with
another project is shipping the two broken pieces plus a good piece
for us to repair or duplicate.

I'll let y'all know in about 4 weeks what the result is.
**Results below**

Don Weisman, TX

DonW give his 4 week report:

Labor to make form-5 hours.
Labor to prepare veneer, dry clamp, pre-bend (guitar-bending element,)
glue and clamp-5 1/2 hours.
Labor to complete shaping and boring-2 3/4 hours.
Plus above required materials.

Beech on each face and Poplar was used for interior veneer.
Hide glue was the adhesive.

Customers note:
Don,

The new piece looks wonderful!   Well done.  Please finish the new leg and
send me an updated invoice - and the items of course!

Many thanks!

Graheme
