To all glaze users. This glaze listed below was designed to block
the yellow color of white woods especially pine when staining
with oak color stains.

I can't explain why but the glaze cancels out the yellow glare.

Directions. Stain and finish. Prior to final coat sand very lightly
with 600 grit to remove dust particles. Don't scratch the finish.
Apply with soft cloth very sparingly. This glaze is very sheer.
Apply final coats. This glaze also gives the finish an aged look.
Good for matching in during restorations.

Muralo Designer Finish sheer finishing glazing liquid: 8799 clear base.

Formula. P&L tint AY-20, E-6, J-14, M-8, B-20.

This is a time saver. Works with pine the best. The application
works best on birch chairs with pine seats that were originally
stained with a harvest or oak color and refinished. Seat can be
sanded to clean wood and stained the same color as the rest of
the chair. The pine will turn yellow and this glaze will eliminate that.

The picture shows the change in color with the glaze. The seat of
the chair looked exactly like the leaf. By placing the glaze on the
seat very sheer it blocked the yellow of the pine to match with the
rest of the chair. The chair was stripped, lightly sanded and
stained with a harvest color. The birch is darker then the pine.
The seat was sanded to remove scratches, down to raw wood.
Normaly this would be a disaster, but this glaze does its job.

The Leaf and the chair were stained the same color out of the same batch.
