Hello All,
I've received a chair that I need some advice on. The seat is made of
thin about 5/16 thick mahogany. The owners wants the seat reinforced,
the old seat is cracking and they said the person setting in the chair is
large. I thought of using 3/4" plywood and form fitting and gluing it to
the underneath of the chair and trimming out with 1/4 round the out
side edges.
Has anyone done anything like this before and has a better ideal?
Wouldn't plywood be stronger that solid wood?
