Thought you might like to see the chair Charlie and I "did"
with advice from Kim Buckminster. First we stripped and
refinished the frame make a few minor repairs along the way.
Then we had to completely retie the springs
(which was the hardest part of the whole project !).
Then we did the upholstery part which was fun and really rewarding.
The customer was thrilled.
We now have the chair's twin in the shop awaiting
a new finish and new fabric. It is in much better shape.
Matter of fact, it almost looks like an "after" already!
