Here are the photos from the little walnut burl pieces
I had inquired about glueing up. They turned out great.
This sofa was in a fire and our job was to repair or replace
(we replaced) the veneer where it was damaged.

... one foot being glued up.
We put some cellophane tape on the benchtop and then
put the veneered surface face down and clamped it to the bench.

... the side of the sofa with it's veneer on.
Something I didn't realize was that the glue would seep right
through the veneer. While surprised, I did manage to deal
with it by sanding the surface with 150 on my random orbit.

... the surface prepped for veneering.
I used a walnut veneer tape (pre-adhesed) on the curvature
of the side of the foot (not yet done in this photo).

My partner Gord, glueing up the curved front piece of the sofa...
"Hey Gord, would ya like another clamp with that glue-up?!"

... the curved front piece back in place and lookin' fine.

And here is the sofa before the upholsterer picks it up,
our job is done. She will strip, sand and recoat herself.
We were only hired for the repair work.
Phew, done.
