This was a nice little piece, in chestnut, around 1890-
1910. The owner is getting the matching bed from his
sister to have done and will keep the two pieces
together. I do not think this was a salesman's sample
or company sample, my thoughts are that this was in
one of those large doll houses like at MESDA. The
height proportions are right for those size doll houses.
But that is just my opinion based on observation.
The mirror was missing, the coating was deteriorated,
and the shelving astride the mirror was off and apart.
Used a weak oil based dye stain (Star brown
mahogany) to contrast the grain and coated with
