This is a 1939 Steinway "M" I did for a world famous
water colorist, Lee O'Daniel. Her dog chewed a way
the segmented corner some years ago. There were
numerous dents, scratches and delaminating white
press marks as well as loose veneers. I spent 10 hours
over a two day period, restoring the case and various
parts.
I gift all of my customers. In this case a matching
marker. Other gifts have been, time, polishing clothes,
waxes and written care instructions. This is the fifth
appointment using the new TU rig and busted it out for
thr first time in Peoria. I've worn out four others over
the past 25 years.
Groop Rocks!
