I've run into a new job and would appreciate
any advice ya'll could send this way.
It's a late 18th/early 19th. century German tilt top table that's
missing a mother of pearl etched dolphin from the center of the table.
There's a smaller one that I can use as a reference to do my etching.
I've researched the web and found some great stuff
on cutting and inlaying mother of pearl.
I need to find a source for a two by two piece
of high grade white and green mop.
And should I spend the money on a power or air engraver,
or just do it the old fashioned way with hand gravers?
It's a difference of about $500 in tools.
Is there a good bit for a Dremmel tool to engrave pearl with?
